Art Nuuttila - an Art Center in Tampere Region Taide-Art Nuuttila includes the Finnish name Taide-Nuuttila and the English name Art Nuuttila. It is new name to previous Nuutti Gallery. Art Nuuttila organises exhibitions and sells pieces of art in its magnificent art gallery. In Summer time the art center is filled with modern art, paintings, sculptures, installations, graphics, ceramics, glass and jewels, of Finnish and foreign artists. It is also a site for tourists to stop and enjoy a cup of coffee and beautiful lake scenery. Nuutti Gallery had a group of Finnish and Russian artists who annually presented their works. This group continues cooperation with Art Nuuttila. The art center is also willing to present new artists and it favours experiments in styles and methods. Summer 2009 There will be two new painters in Art
Nuuttila: Arto Väisänen from Kuopio and Nastaran Nasir
Zadeh who was born in Iran but lives in Helsinki. Arto
will exhibit together with Tuukka Peltonen in downstairs
Nuutti Gallery. Nastaran will present her works upstairs. Eila Pilvenpalo will present an installation in the Cellar and renew the last year's installation "Head Alley" along the Art Trail. Marja-Leena Mettinen will bring some new sculptures but also she will present an installation in the Small Barn Gallery. Aila and Asko Salminen will stay in Art Nuuttila the week 29 in July. Aila will show how to use copper or silver chasing in jewellery. There will be small collections from other artists. (See Summer 2008.) What else? Art Nuuttila has in Summer time:

Nuutti Gallery
has changed its name to Art Nuuttila. In its Summer 2008
Exhibition there will be an excellent collection of
modern art. As an Art Center Art Nuuttila is a pleasant
place to sit down, enjoy of art and of beautiful lake
scenery, let the children play in their own area, have a
cup of coffee... In Summer 2009 there will be presented exhibitions e.g. from the following artists: Tuukka Peltonen, Arto Väisänen, Nastaran Nasir Zadeh, Kanerva Niemelä, Saara Maria Piispa, Eila Pilvenpalo, Kaarina Kellomäki, Asko Salminen and Olli Räty. |
